Introduction
Interest rates for savers generally follow inflation trends and statistics show that these gains are always positive unless you are very unlucky. The reason why so many people invest in Banks is because they are usually a safe bet. Indeed, often your savings will be guaranteed.
Money in a savings account is usually a safe investment but the return can sometimes be limited for the investor when compared to other options.
There are many opportunities for investment depending on the level of risk an individual is prepared to take. These forms of investment might include stocks and shares, endowment insurance policies, pensions etc. We are focusing our attention on the property market where our expertise is. Stability of Property Values
In real terms although property markets do suffer from peaks and troughs, property does increase in value in the long term. Recently in some areas, property prices have actually gone down, this is due to the economy which has an effect on supply and demand. An over supply of property can easily reduce property prices when the property market is struggling.
Property prices do go down but history has shown that they always recover and they are stable in the long term. Steady or significant increases in property prices are usually the norm.
Whilst there can be no guarantee that property prices will increase over say, a one year period it is generally accepted that a well maintained property in a reasonable area will appreciate in value.Interesting Statistics

Finding High Return Investments Before Others Do, Angel Investing
Posted by: | Commentssafe high return investments Downers Grove
Everyone knows that investing in ventures that make one’s money grow is an excellent means of securing one’s future. What escapes many investors is the understanding that powerful opportunities exist online which have the ability to greatly increase returns. Many of which have the ability to greatly outperform investments touted by the big firms. Knowing they exist but not knowing quite how to find them is the reason for much frustration for investors seeking such opportunities. However today, it is easier than ever. When you know where to look. In this Internet age, search engines have been tools utilized to locate all types of information. So I thought, why not use search engines to look for viable investment opportunities as well. I was really surprised at what I found in my exploration of this concept. Sure, I know readers of this article are thinking. The Internet has been used for investment information from the beginning. I know that. On this journey, however, I avoided searching for the investing related terms millions of other investors search for. I essentially tried to get off of the beaten path. I avoided terms such as; AMERITRADE, Ameritrade, TDAMERITRADE, TD Waterhouse, Online Trading, Online Stock Trading, Online Investing, Online Trading Services, Stock Trading, Buy Stock, Trade Stock, Stocks, Stock Market Trading, Online Trades, Investing, Investment, Investments, Online Investment, Stock Investing, Mutual Funds, IRA, Roth IRA, Online Trading Tools, Option Trading, Broker Services, Online Broker, Online Stock Broker, Online Brokerage, Stock Market, Active Investing, Active Trading, and Online Stock Research. I attempted to look for those investment opportunities that I knew had to be slipping under investor radar. I searched words like “Invention needs manufacturer”, “invention needs investors”, “Invention needs funds” and “Invention seeks funding”. Initially, I thought it strange that the results I was finding existed on sites like YouTube.com, PrWeb.com and a less known website called GoBigNetwork.com. Thinking that this was too easy, I investigated it further to determine whether this was just some quacks with an “underwater basket weaving gadget” or whether they were legitimate investment opportunities that had merit. I was actually pleasantly surprised to find that the opportunities were legitimate ventures that if funded and managed well could easily become the next big thing. Two opportunities that really stick out in my opinion are two investment opportunities that I found clearly listed on PrWeb.com. The inventor makes a compelling case.
Investment Opportunity 1 http://www.prweb.com/releases/2008/05/prweb972694.htm
Investment Opportunity 1 (investment info) http://www.gobignetwork.com/classified/active/patented-recession-proof-product-needs-funding-for-contract-manufacturing-see-on-youtube/253136/index.aspx
Investment Opportunity 2 http://www.prweb.com/releases/2008/05/prweb917964.htm
There is a diverse assortment of investment opportunities but I chose to highlight these two because they clearly represent an extraordinary range of investment opportunities that exist online.
The name of the investing game is “high returns”. Excellent opportunities exist for those investors that would like to add powerful additions to their portfolios. Angel investors looking for the next big thing need only change the keywords they use to search for it.

What You Need to Know About Investing
Posted by: | Commentssafe high return investments Downers Grove
We all need to save money for the future. But bank interests from saving accounts can barely beat inflation. As the future of social security becomes unknown and many companies’ retirement plan becomes undependable, investing has become the most important way to insure our financial future.
Before you start investing, you should learn the basics of investment. At the same time, you need to have a good understanding of your risk tolerance and be clear about your investment goals. Ask yourself the following questions: What do you want to achieve through investments? Retiring? Buying a home? Funding college education? Will it be long term investing or short term investing? How much money can you invest? Knowing your goal will help you make better investment decisions.
There are different types of investments, such as stocks, bonds and cash. You need to learn about each type and should decide on which ways to invest based on your own situation. There are three types of investors: conservative investors, moderate investors and aggressive investors. Conservative investors invest in cash, including bank saving accounts, CDs, US treasury bills etc. Moderate investors invest in cash and bonds and may also invest in the stock market and low risk real estate. Aggressive investors do most of investing in the stock market and might also invest in business ventures and high risk estate.
How much many should you invest? To answer this question, you need to first determine how much you can afford to invest and what your financial goals are. It’s important to always keep three to six months of living expenses ready in savings. Then, you can determine how much you can add to your investments in the future. Also, keep in mind that some types of investments require a certain initial investment amount.
When you start investing, you should try to avoid some common mistakes that people tend to make. First of all, don’t put all your eggs into one basket. Diversification should be an important part of your investment strategy. Also, don’t expect to get rich quickly. Don’t put off investing until later, and don’t invest aggressively until you are in the financial position to do so. When you invest, it’s important to plan for the long-term because investors who focus on long-term gains benefit most.

Because most of us right now are having to provide investment guidance for our future retirement. This is pretty common since most companies and employers are no longer overseeing employee retirement accounts, and if they are it’s a safe bet that they are looking to discontinue the practice in the near future. That leaves our retirement safety in our own hands. Whether your experienced with investing from within an IRA or are looking for information on how it’s done you’ll find these tips useful.First be very selective when choosing an IRA custodian. These are the individuals, brokerages and bankers that are administrators of IRA accounts. Like anything else not all custodians are equal. The fact is some are light years ahead of others in there service, experience and know how. Don’t let just anyone oversee your account. You’ll want experience and comprehensive knowledge of IRA’s and the rules and regulations that govern them. Oddly there are actually few custodians that have this type of knowledge. An example of this is that what you can invest in when investing from within an IRA is surprisingly broad. However most custodians allow only a narrow area of investment. This is actually because most are only educated on the traditional IRA investment vehicles such as stocks, bonds and certificates of deposit(CDs). You’ll want to find a custodian that allows clients to invest in the full spectrum of possible investments options just as congress intended you be able to. The truth is that many things can be invested in using an IRA. One example is real estate. In fact real estate is a Little known investment that makes massive use of the tax advantages of IRA’s. The territory is to foreign to them since most are skilled only in traditional IRA investment options such as stocks and bonds. This brings about the need for a self directed IRA account, with a self directed Roth or regular IRA account you are able to direct your custodian to invest in which real estate you want to invest in. That tactic is to enlist the expertise of real estate investors who are experienced in using real estate when investing from within an IRA and are willing to show IRA owners the ropes.
