After 13 Years, Doesn’t Obama’s “change” Message Sound Like A Broken Record?
By adminKind of like a snake oil salesman who knows how to manipulate people’s emotions? He knows how to get people worked up and to take thier own negative emotions and turn them into raging fires. He once said:
“The right wing talks about this but they keep appealing to that old individualistic bootstrap myth: get a job, get rich, and get out. Instead of investing in our neighborhoods, that’s what has always happened. Our goal must be to help people get a sense of building something larger.
“The political debate is now so skewed, so limited, so distorted,” said Obama. “People are hungry for community; they miss it. They are hungry for change. — Barack Obama, Chicago Reader interview, December 8, 1995 — when BILL CLINTON was President

None of Obama’s Ideas will solve anything….they have all been tried before and failed!
The thing is, just about everything Obama says is the same old ‘clap track’ we have been hearing from socialist politicians for over 60 years.
“Hillary-care” / Socialized medicine is not new.
“Cripple the Military’s Morale” by reducing funding and capabilities is not new.
“Accuse all whites of racism’” is not new.
“Raise Taxes” is not new.
“Redistribute Wealth” is not new.
“Amnesty for illegals” is not new.
Create gun control laws contrary to the constitution has been tried before
We already have Affirmative action and racial quota programs the effectively lower standards and have been proven to actually increase predjudice.
Since all of these ideas have been tried and have failed in the past how are these old ideas going to solve all america’s problems???

LOL…. the Dems (black especially) have proven that they will fall HOOK LINE and SINKER for the same lies… year after year after year……
Promise them a “handout”…..
Promise to save them from “the establishment”….
Promise them “change”…
Promise to attack “the rich”…..
And the mindless fools pull the Dem levers EVERY DARN YEAR… as they have for the last 50.
YET… blacks sit firmly at the bottom of the socio-economic scale… hating “whitey”…. hating “the rich”… waiting for “da check” that never comes…. and then clap and cheer when the Dems show up NEXT election year, peddling the same empty promises.
So why should CHANGE be any different?

13 years?
every guy running for president that isn’t already in office runs on change.
Clinton ran on change
Bush ran on change
Regan ran on change
heck even McCain is running on change
so one shouldn’t just focus on Obama since both parties are guilty of being broken records

Yes…many, many Democratic Presidential candidates and politicians have used that broken word, and never, ever followed through. When there was a change, it was to their benefit, not ours!!!

No, it sounds as true now as it was then.
According to McCain’s ad, he knows that “Washington is broken.”
So what the hell has he been doing for 27 years?
Not fixing it, that’s for sure.

Amen. Where is all that wonderful change like lower gas prices the Dems promised us in 2006. I am still waiting. Dems are not interested in solutions, they just want dependance and control.

I am more tired of hearing the same old attacks every year from Republicans.

Play that record backwards and the message will say “It’s time for (more) ‘change’ to come out of taxpayer’s pockets”!!

It’s all about getting the ignorants’ support. nothing more.

I should vote for him.
December 8th, 2009 at 3:57 am

He has only been in politics 12 years & the cons usually don’t give him credit for anything but 2. Anyway, No, I love that he is a man that is energetic, positive & so decent. He is not pretending to be a hero. Waling around telling a story so violins will play. He is an intelligent man who spend years helping poor people get to the employment office so they could get jobs & get educated & all they needed to be empowered I admire that more than fear mongering So while hope & change might bother you it is beautiful music to a happy people who are not living a life where comfort is war which is what McCain says like a broken record.

His message sounds like hope to me.
What’s McCain’s message? War! More War! Draft! Middle class tax increase!
