A good place to start is to look at similar programs in other areas. For example, WalMart has been a supporter of a few homeless programs and shelters in many areas.
Check the websites of different local chapters of national organizations in the issue area to see who the main corporate donors are. This will give you a good place to start in your local funding campaign.
